Marinated Tofu Burrito
Best tofu burrito I've ever tried! I discovered Papalote about 10 yrs ago when i first moved to SF and I've been obsessed with their Marinated Tofu Burrito (get it Super) ever since. The house salsa they give on the side is also exceptional!
Pescado Burrito
This is the absolute perfect food. I get pescado super burrito with refried beans. It is just amazing. The last few times it's been a bit too heavy on the salt, but otherwise fantastic.
Soyrizo con Huevo Burrito
The soyrizo breakfast burrito (soyrizo con huevo) is fantastic - flavorful, rich, and filling. There is a good balance of ingredients evenly distributed across the burrito that packs a punch in every bite! You can tell they really thought about the item here and didn't just make a lackluster vegetarian substitution. Love that it's available as a default item and not a modification. One of my favorite breakfast burritos in the city.
Triple Threat Burrito
This burrito was not only huge but incredibly delicious. The combo of chicken, steak and shrimp was great. Flavors were super fresh! I would not hesitate for a moment to have another. Make sure to get the house salsa on the burrito as well as on the side!
Al Pastor Burrito
I love this place! They're open late, service is always good, and food is so good. Moving fro San Diego, it's one of the best burritos i've had in SF. Plus the portions are huge!
Soyrizo
This review is for the soyrizo burrito, which is a knockout every time! Full of flavor, texture, and fresh ingredients. Filling and tasty. I love the chips and salsa on the side, and their house salsa really compliments everything well. As a vegetarian, this is my go to Mexican place!
Carne Asada Burrito
The best burritos on earth, I love Papalote we order at the NOPA Papalote every Wednesday and I always order the Carne Asada burrito with guac and sour cream NO cheese.
Pescado Tacos
Papalote's pescado tacos are so delicious. I love a grilled fillet (not breaded and fried!) and theirs is the best with a delectable wine/butter marinade. 10 on the 10 yum scale. I highly recommend.
Soyrizo
This is a great option for high protein, vegetarian option. I am not sure what makes it vegetarian instead of vegan, but it also comes with a side of salsa and chips. The serving size is large and could be split into two moderately portioned meals with the chips. The service is always excellent and fast.
Veggie Burrito
Absolutely nothing compares to a veggie burrito bowl with LOTS of extra orange sauce. Best veggie burrito bowl in SF - so much flavor and love the use of fresh veggies and potatos. Unique and always hits
